Vivica was first to fall. We found only her wand and some scraps of cloth amid a puddle of blood. Later, that day we heard her "voice". It was pleading with us, cajoling us, and even threatening us for leaving her. One by one we fell. Lost to the depths of the dark. Each time the chorus of "voices" would grow. Now I am all that is left...alone...in the dark...and it is still hungry!
